Steps to Use the Bridge Application

To successfully use the bridge application to transfer assets between networks, follow these steps. We'll be using MetaMask for this process, and we will bridge from the BEP20 network to the PEP20 network.

Step 1: Ensure You Have an EVM-Compatible Wallet

Before you start, you need to have an EVM-compatible wallet. For our purposes, we'll be using MetaMask.

Step 2: Connect MetaMask to the Application

  1. Set Up MetaMask: Follow the instructions to set up your MetaMask wallet if you haven’t done so.

  2. Connect to the Application: Open the bridge application and connect your MetaMask wallet to it.

  3. Select the Network: Ensure that you are connected to the network from which you want to bridge assets. In this case, connect to the BEP20 network.

Step 3: Specify the Amount of PRX to Bridge

  1. Enter the Amount: In the bridge application, enter the amount of PRX you want to bridge. You can also select the maximum amount available in your wallet by clicking the "Max" button.

  2. Initiate the Transfer: Click the "Transfer" button to start the bridging process.

  3. Minimum bridge amount is 10 PRX

Step 4: Approve the Spending in Your Wallet

  1. Spending Approval: A spending approval window will pop up in MetaMask. Review the details and approve the spending request to allow the bridge application to access the specified amount of PRX.

Step 5: Confirm the Transaction and Pay the Fee

  1. Transaction Confirmation: A transaction confirmation window will pop up in MetaMask. Review the details of the transaction.

  2. Transaction Fee: The bridge application will charge a fee equivalent to $1 in PRX for the transfer. This fee will be deducted from the amount being transferred.

  3. Approve the Transaction: Confirm the transaction in MetaMask to proceed.

Step 5: Transaction Completion

  1. Immediate Processing: The transaction will be processed immediately upon confirmation.

  2. Verify Transfer: After the transaction is complete, check your wallet on the destination network (PEP20 in this case) to ensure the transferred PRX has arrived.

By following these steps, you can efficiently bridge PRX from the BEP20 network to the PEP20 network using MetaMask. The process ensures secure and seamless transfer of assets across networks.

Information on the $1 Equivalent PRX Fee During Bridging

During the bridge process, transfers occur in the bridge contracts on both the sending and receiving networks. The transfer fee on the sending network is deducted from the sender's wallet by the network. However, the transfer fee on the receiving network cannot be deducted from the recipient's wallet. Therefore, the transfer fee for the receiving network is automatically deducted from the amount being transferred during the process. This fee is equivalent to $1 in PRX.

Install MetaMask: If you don't already have MetaMask installed, download and install it from the .
